Thank you for your interest in applying for a consultant psychotherapist position with the office of Dr. Deborah Berman Psychotherapy Associates!
The office of Dr. Deb Berman, DMin, LCSW, located in Lower Manhattan, is seeking 1-2 mental health practitioners to work as with adults in individual and/or relationship counseling. Flexible schedule, select your own clients. Seeking LMSW/LMHCs — or upcoming or recent grads — who may be working toward fulfilling clinical and supervision hours. Applicants must be licensed (or expect to have their limited permit in the near future) in New York State and be able to commit roughly 15-20 client hours per week (but it’s up to you how much time you want to put in). Good pay. This is a P/T W-2 position. Weekly individual or group supervision provided and your clinical and supervision hours will be signed off on by Dr. Berman. The office will cover your registration fee to attend 2 relevant professional seminars or conferences annually in New York City or online. This is a great opportunity for you to create and grow your own independent practice. We would prefer a two year minimum commitment as a consultant, after which you have the option of keeping your clients and moving with them to your own private practice when you licensure allows.
